Dr. Helder Montenegro is the President of the Brazilian Spine Rehabilitation Association (ABRColuna) and the Ceará Association of Physiotherapists. He is recognized as one of Brazil’s leading experts in the conservative treatment of spinal disorders.

Throughout his career, he has pioneered the introduction of advanced Manual Therapy techniques in Brazil, taught postgraduate specialization programs, delivered lectures nationwide, and organized international scientific congresses. He has also completed advanced training in Europe and the United States, specializing in Manual Therapy, Osteopathy, Muscle Chain Therapy, and the McKenzie Method.

In 2003, Dr. Montenegro developed the RMA Spine Method, an innovative conservative treatment protocol that became a national reference and led to the creation of ITC Vertebral, one of Brazil’s largest spine rehabilitation networks.

He is also the author of the bestselling book “Herniated Disc and Sciatic Pain”, with over 10,000 copies sold, and has developed educational resources that have helped thousands of people better understand spine health.
